This is our fifth time to Ohana. I have to say that they are consistent in their cupcakes and the flavors advertised actually taste like described. I've tasted some flavors I've never seen before like Pineapple Mango and Apple Pie. I normally shy away from the chocolate because I'm not a fan but my family members love their Salted Caramel and Oreo cupcake. My favorites are: Maple Pancake, Red Velvet, and Coconut. Each cupcake is $3.50 and they also come by half dozen and a dozen. One dozen is $35. They also have pupcakes as well for the doggies - but no dogs are allowed inside so FYI. They do have a little seating outside where we waited with our dogs. The inside has a large area for seating and also a place to create your own cupcakes as well as coffee bar in the back. Nice family owned place and very homey. The workers are always extremely friendly. Customer service is always a 10. Es Z.
Delicious cupcakes. Adorable shop. Large with cute seating. Soft, perfectly flavored frosting & cake. Prices are average ($18 for 6 cupcakes)...could be slightly cheaper, but average for this type of shop. We are from the OC & the average there for a boutique shop like this is between $4-$5, so this wasn't a bad price. They are average sized, not too small. I disagree with the reviews saying they were small, unless that has changed since the other reviews were written. They offer a design your own option, too. However, that seemed a bit pricey compared to other similar place. Will definitely come again. SoCalSparky o.
Ohana has the best cupcakes I've ever eaten! We bought a variety dozen of already made cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and every one of them was fabulous. Let me tell you, I HATE buttercream frosting. It never tastes right, mostly like mashed up butter with some sugar thrown in. As an avid baker, even when I have attempted to make it myself, it tastes terrible. But this place has me sold with their buttercream frosting! I am a convert, so long as they make it! The cake was perfect, and most of the cupcakes we tried had an incredible filling surprise inside. I highly recommend them!
Went for the first time with our two girls (3 and 6) and they were ELATED with the CBT experience. Super simple process, but they were so proud to make their own cupcakes and the atmosphere made it much more fun and exciting than if we were to just do it at home. It can be pricey for those of us on budgets, but they seem to have specials/groupons going on pretty regularly so we'll watch for those. Definitely returning! Mahalo Ohana Cupcakes!
